Our Retaining Wall Services
A retaining wall does one job: hold tons of soil in place, year after year, freeze after freeze. When walls fail, they fail catastrophically — and they take landscaping, driveways, and sometimes foundations with them. We build structural retaining walls with proper excavation, gravel base, geogrid reinforcement where required, and drainage built in from day one. Block, stone, or segmental systems, engineered to actual load. Free quote, written and fixed.

Low garden walls, raised bed borders, decorative planters. Good-looking and properly built — designed to last decades, not the two years a typical DIY stack-stone wall manages before joints pop and stones shift.

Slope stabilization on Jersey hillsides — with proper grading, gravel backfill, and engineered drainage. Walls that handle storm surges, freeze-thaw cycles, and decades of soil pressure without leaning, bulging, or popping joints.

Leaning walls, popping blocks, separating stone, drainage failures — we assess what’s actually causing the failure (almost always drainage, base, or both), then rebuild correctly. No band-aids on walls that are about to give.

What Our NJ Homeowner Customers Say
They redid my driveway and built a retaining wall. Great work, quickly, for a reasonable price. Showed up exactly when they said they would. They say you can only have 2 out of 3 — fast, quality, inexpensive. These guys hit the trifecta.
I hired Jersey Power Construction to build the back patio with pavers. The quality is unbelievable. I never thought my patio would be this amazing. So happy with them.
They did a great job on our patio and driveway. Great company. Highly recommend!
New back patio pavers with Jersey Power — patio came out amazing. Never thought it’d be so beautiful. Price was affordable, quality high.

Garden walls that don’t
lean or pop joints.

Failing wall? Diagnose it before you replace it.
We assess what’s actually wrong — almost always drainage, base, or both. Sometimes a targeted fix holds. Sometimes a rebuild is the only real answer. Honest either way.

Common Questions
From NJ Homeowners
If yours isn’t here, just call Dorjan or someone on his team will pick up.
Wildly variable — depends on length, height, materials, soil conditions, drainage requirements, and whether engineering or permits are needed. A 30-foot decorative garden wall is one price; a 6-foot structural wall holding back a hillside is another. We come out, look at the actual conditions, and give you a written, fixed quote — free, no obligation.
Usually only for walls over 4 feet tall, walls supporting a load (driveway, foundation), or walls in flood/erosion zones — but rules vary by NJ municipality. We check local code during the on-site visit and handle permitting when required. No surprises mid-job.
Properly built segmental block and stone walls routinely last 30–50+ years. The variables that determine lifespan are base depth, drainage, and reinforcement (geogrid for taller walls). Cut corners on those and walls fail in 5–10 years. We don’t cut those corners — and our 10-year-old walls show it.
Sometimes, sometimes not. Mild leaning from minor settling can occasionally be repaired. Significant leaning, bulging, or block separation usually means the base or drainage failed — and a rebuild is the only real fix. We assess honestly. We don’t sell unnecessary rebuilds, but we don’t band-aid walls that are about to come down either.
